Jesus is going to come back again and no one knows the day nor the hour, but we can prepare ourselves for that day. It does say that we are not to be ignorant of the season of His return. 1 Thessalonians 5:1. Did you know that there are lots of signs to show us that we are in the season of His return?
It's Time to Arise
This photo below is one that I took the other evening as I was walking through the bush near my home. It was getting dark, but a beam of light was streaming through a hole in the trees and made a pool of light on the bank next to my path. As I walked past it, my shadow appeared in the light. I had just been declaring that the Church would arise according to Isaiah 60:1-3 and shine in these last days when darkness covered the earth. I believe this was a sign that my prayers were on track and God knew my every thought.
They shall arise again
they rise again,“ Proverbs 24:16 There are many times on our walk with God when we stumble and fall, but its not the end. God would rather us try and fail than do nothing at all. He is not displeased when we fall as He always loves a ‘trier,’ just like we parents love to see our babies learn to walk and they fall often. Our loving Heavenly Father loves to see us try new things and is more disappointed if we do nothing at all rather than try and fail again and again.
Prophecy to the Dry Bones: Part 2
You will notice in Acts 2:17-21 that the primary gift used during the time period up until the Lord’s Return is the gift of prophecy. There are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit but the gift of prophecy is the predominant one to be used at this time. The question is why Prophecy? Why not miracles or Healings?
You are the Salt of the earth
There is a lot of hopelessness out there at present, but we Christians mustn’t lose hope. The Bible says that ‘Faith is the substance of things hoped for.’ If we lose hope then we lose our faith and this doesn’t please God. It’s faith that overcomes the world. Without hope we become like salt that has lost its savour and are then just ‘Oxygen Stealers.’ Not much use for anything, trampled under foot by the enemy. Did you know that any thought in your mind that doesn’t inspire hope isn’t from God?
