This woman came to Jesus and anointed Him with a very expensive ointment. For the fragrance to be released there had to be a breaking of the hard alabaster. Jesus was impressed with this offering and made sure this offering was recorded in the Holy Scripture for future generations.

For us Christians it’s that time of the year when we remember with thankful hearts the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. You will notice that Easter is made up of 3 parts; The Death, Burial and Resurrection of our Lord and these 3 elements continue to be  essential for a successful Christian life.

There is a meal that has become my favourite, and that is the Lord’s Supper. Not because of its texture, taste, nutritional value or its generous amounts, but because of what is symbolizes. It’s also special to me because of what it means to our Heavenly Father. If you love someone and invite them for a meal, you’ll give them what you know they love and put aside all your preferences. The bible shows us that this communion meal is the ‘Father of all Meals’ and we love it because it’s His favourite meal.
