The more you worship Him without distractions in the night, using the word as your reference, the more the image of Him becomes clearer and your life begins to change. You are changed into the image you reflect. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” May we be a mirror image of Him.

There are times in our walk with God that it seems like He has withdrawn Himself and we are now left on our own. Of course this is not true, for He says He will never leave us or forsake us, but if we were to go by your feelings it just seems that way.

I feel there are some things that Christians are getting wrong when interpreting scripture. Because they don’t really understand the grace of God they look at scriptures from an old testament view point – under the law. We can still think God is angry with us but now that we are under grace, we are forgiven. Jesus has come to save and not condemn.

“Those who make them (idols) become like them; so do all who trust in them.” Psalm 115:8

I saw a funny pic of a man driving his car with his bulldog sitting next to him the other day. The expression on their faces was amazingly similar; for they both looked like each other. It is said that we can end up looking like our pets, those creatures that we love and sometimes even worship.

“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12

I want to speak to you about a super power that is available to us all and that is the power of perseverance. That power enables you to overcome in life.
