God could have created you and me to love Him only, but He wanted you to choose to do so. Your love for Him is something you have to choose to do; it’s something that you create. God cannot and will not do it for you as He has given you the freedom of choice. He gives you the seed and it’s up to you to plant and cultivate it in your heart. It’s like an orchid, it’s very hard to grow and needs exactly the right conditions. Orchards don’t like competition either and can be easily killed off.

We were asked at our Home Group the other night if there was any place in the Bible that we would love to go back to, and see it all with our own eyes and hear it with our own ears. It was funny that everyone in the group had a different story in the bible that appealed to them, and various reasons as to why they wanted to go back there

Peter tells us that Grace and Peace can be multiplied unto us and explains how this can be possible. We as God’s children all experience God’s Grace (His undeserved favour) and His Peace (Rest and Prosperity), but here we read that it can be ‘super-sized’ or multiplied toward us. How? He explains that it’s not that complicated really, for its through a knowledge of God the Father and His Son Jesus.
