“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.” 1 Corinthians 9:24
Let’s look at the three servants who served Elijah and Elisha. They all had the same opportunity to be blessed, but only one received the prize. The question is why?
Jesus said something amazing in matthew 17
Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
We are placed in His Kingdom when we are Born Again so this means that we are greater than John.
The Book of Job says that God speaks to us in dreams.
He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people
as they lie in their beds. He whispers in their ears and terrifies them with warnings.
He makes them turn from doing wrong; he keeps them from pride. He protects them from the grave, from crossing over the river of death. Job 33:15-18
I have had some powerful dreams over the years that when heeded have changed the course of my life.
Prophecy is the key to preparing the Church, His Bride for the return of the lord. It also says in this verse that our Sons and Daughters will prophesy. We have a long way to go for this to happen. Even mature Christians aren't prophesying, let alone our children.
We need to lift our sights and believe for a bigger vision. Let us pray that we and our children will prophesy.
